Job summary

Humanoid in the United Kingdom seeks a Validation Engineer to define and perform structured tests for our humanoid platform. You will craft procedures, acceptance criteria, and measurement plans, then run tests on rigs, capture data, and write engineering reports for sign-off by the team.

You’ll collaborate with Test and Validation Engineers, understand subsystem requirements, and translate them into repeatable validation workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience writing test procedures, test plans, or acceptance criteria from engineering requirements.
• Experience with electromechanical test and measurement equipment and at least one DAQ platform.
• CAD skills to read/edit models and design simple fixtures for fabrication.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and methodical problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with robotics, aerospace, or automotive components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and write clear test procedures from engineering requirements, including setup, instrumentation, execution steps, pass/fail criteria, and data capture format.
• Define measurable acceptance criteria with systems owners and senior engineers.
• Translate validation scope into test plans aligned with project schedules.
• Develop new test methods to close coverage gaps and improve measurement approaches.
• Set up and operate electromechanical measurement equipment and DAQ systems.
• Execute tests, log deviations, and generate engineering reports with data tables and plots.
• Participate in root cause analysis and liaise with external test houses as needed.
• Coordinate lab tooling, consumables, and 5S practices to keep the test floor ready.
