Candidates should have substantial surgical experience, including competency in robotic techniques and a full GMC registration. Qualifications

• Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Wide clinical training and experience in General Surgery.
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT or CESR.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for colorectal cancer surgery and select investigations.
• Achieve competency in minimally invasive surgery for colorectal resections.
• Contribute to the General Surgery full-shift rota.

Skills

Clinical training in General Surgery

Basic competence in laparoscopic colorectal resections

MBBS, MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
