Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician in the Harlow area. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and assist members across the UK, starting and finishing from home and visiting local areas as needed.

You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and a diagnostic kit from day one, with a strong base pay and achievable OTE opportunities in a fast-paced roadside role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home and travel to local areas to assist members.
