Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the Harlow cluster area to perform diagnostics and roadside repairs. You will start and end each day from home, travelling locally to assist members and get drivers back on the road quickly.

You’ll use your diagnostic skills, experience, and RAC-provided tools to handle a range of faults, from flat batteries to tyre failures. The role includes a competitive salary, navigation of bonus opportunities, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle faults and complex issues with confidence and speed.
• Represent RAC with high customer service standards.
