Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and finish each day from home, with shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit to enable rapid, safe solutions for members on the road. Candidates should have an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
