Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs, delivering emergency breakdown support across the UK. Begin and end each day at home with a supplied RAC van, toolkit, and fuel card.

Role requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience and a full UK driving licence with few points, with 40-hour weeks and optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and tackle local calls.
