Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Start and finish from home with demand-led shifts around 40 hours weekly.

You will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience and a full UK driving licence. A van, fuel card and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Help get RAC members back on the road quickly and confidently.
