Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to join its Patrol division. You will deliver mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and ending each day from your home.

Expect a 40-hour average week with demand-led shifts and optional overtime, backed by a fully equipped RAC van and tools. You’ll need a Level 2 qualification and at least 2 years post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence and strong customer focus to help keep

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and providing quick solutions.
