Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work at customers’ locations across the UK. You will operate a RAC van, carry out fault diagnostics and roadside repairs, and provide exceptional service to members.

The role requires a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2+ years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence. Shifts average 40 hours weekly with potential overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
