Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and finish at home, with demand-led shifts and a 40-hour week, and be equipped with a RAC van, tools, and a diagnostic kit.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience and a full UK licence. Overtime opportunities are available and holidays are generous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
