Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the Warrington area to diagnose and repair roadside faults and provide emergency breakdown support. You will start and end your day at home, with a dedicated RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.

You will need a Level 2 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or 5+ years as a Technician) and a clean UK driving licence. Shifts are demand-led, averaging ~40 hours weekly with overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and end each day at home with RAC van and tools
