RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside across the UK. You’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support, helping members continue their journeys safely.

Starting on your driveway with demand-led shifts averaging around 40 hours a week, you’ll access a structured development programme, IMI accreditation and a generous package including a base salary of £36,400 with a realistic £61,000 OTE and optional

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support to RAC members across the UK.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need assistance most.
