Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at your home driveway, with 40-hour weeks and demand-led shifts plus overtime options.

A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and at least two years of post-qualification experience are required, along with a full UK driving licence and a customer-focused approach. You’ll be supported by a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Full UK driving licence and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Work with the RAC van, diagnostic kit, and tools to get members back on the road.
