Job summary

RAC Motoring Services in the UK is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience, you’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and assist members in urgent breakdowns.

You’ll start and end your day from home, work around 40 hours weekly with optional overtime, and receive a market-competitive base salary (£36,400) with a realistic OTE (£60,000+).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions for breakdowns (battery, tyre, faults).
• Start and end days from home, with home-based shifts and 40-hour weeks.
