Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is hiring a Roadside Technician. You will perform roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing each day from home with a RAC van and full diagnostic kit.

The role requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or 5+ years as a Technician) and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points. Competitive base pay with realistic OTE and overtime options are offered.

Qualifications

• Either: NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and providing confident solutions.
• You will be equipped with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.
