Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the Harlow cluster and surrounding areas. You’ll diagnose, repair and support members on the roadside, delivering quick, confident solutions while keeping safety and service at the forefront.

You’ll work from home base and visit local locations, with RAC vans, fuel cards, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided. The role combines hands-on mechanical work with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Support members with quick, confident solutions and reassurance.

Education
