Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the Harlow area to diagnose and repair vehicles on the roadside. You’ll work from home and cover local territories, travelling to assist RAC members and get them back on the road quickly.

You’ll be provided with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools and diagnostic kit, plus ongoing support and growth opportunities within the RAC brand and its 125+ years of history.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years experience.
• 5+ years experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, travelling to local areas to service RAC members.
