Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, working from your RAC van and focus on returning members to the road in your local area.

You’ll have a Level 2 qualification with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience, a customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence. OTE and bonuses enhance the base pay, with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent with 2+ years post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and respond to calls with a well-equipped RAC van.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members.
