Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish each day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card and full diagnostic toolkit provided.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or 5+ years as a Technician) and a full UK driving licence, you’ll join a team serving local members, enjoying a market-competitive base salary (£41,600) and a realistic OTE (£65,000+).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience
• or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside
• Operate with the RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit provided
