Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division in the Leeds cluster, covering local areas such as Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding towns. You will perform roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support, starting and finishing each day from your home base.

The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• A customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and finish day at home while covering local areas
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members
