Job summary

RAC in the UK is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support, visiting members across your local area and starting/finishing at home.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2 years' post-qualification experience, you’ll deliver quick, confident fixes and outstanding member care while using your RAC van and equipment provided. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs
• Provide emergency breakdown support and diagnostics across the UK
• Start and finish days at home while using RAC van and provided tools
