Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs, and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work on demand-led shifts, starting and finishing on your driveway, with a strong base pay and achievable OTE.

A structured development programme and IMI accreditation pathways help you grow, while you combine technical ability with excellent customer service to get members back on the road quickly.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience or 5+ years as Technician with full UK licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and breakdown support.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions.
• Work independently with demand-led shifts across the UK.
