Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the West Midlands (Walsall). You’ll diagnose faults, perform emergency roadside repairs and assist members with confidence and care, all while delivering excellent service on every call-out.

You’ll hold a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to work demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Maintain high-quality member service on every call.
