Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the West Midlands with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least two years’ post-qualification experience. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and assist members across the UK, handling a 40-hour week with overtime opportunities, starting and finishing from home on your driveway.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Handle fault diagnostics and repairs in roadside situations, including flat battery, tyre changes and complex faults.
• Start and finish days from home; manage calls with a focus on quick, confident solutions for RAC members.
