Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to service members across the UK from home bases with shifts averaging around 40 hours per week. You will perform diagnostics, roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support, building trusted relationships with members while delivering rapid, reliable assistance close to home.

You will have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years of experience, plus a full UK driving licence. A RAC van, fuel card and tools are provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support and customer reassurance on routine calls.
