Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to service members across the UK. You’ll start and finish from home, with shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime, performing roadside repairs and diagnostics to get drivers moving again.

You’ll be part of the Patrol division, delivering fast, confident solutions while maintaining high levels of member satisfaction. A RAC van, tools, and kit are provided from day one to support your work.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Customer-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Return members to the road with confidence and quality service
