Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit provided to help you keep members moving.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll work flexible shifts averaging around 40 hours per week and have access to a generous base salary, realistic OTE and a broad

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each shift at home and manage on-call customer service.
• Utilise RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit provided.
