Job summary

RAC invites applications for a Roadside Technician. You’ll be based in the Warrington cluster serving Widnes, Runcorn, Newton-le-Willows and nearby areas, starting and finishing from home with 40-hour demand-led shifts and optional overtime.

With an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence, you’ll perform diagnostics, roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support, delivering confidence to members.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Ensure quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members.
