Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll be based from home, start and finish at your driveway, with shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

Qualified with NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2+ years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and 5+ years as a technician, you’ll join RAC’s Patrol division delivering quick, confident solutions and outstanding member

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair

• Emergency breakdown support across the UK
