Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members on callouts across your local area, starting and ending each day at home.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, and 2+ years’ experience (or 5+ years in the trade), you’ll join a trusted team. You’ll receive a market-competitive base salary and a realistic OTE, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and finish the day at home and service local members
• Use RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit provided
