Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our team and keep drivers moving across the UK. You’ll perform expert roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support, starting and finishing from your home base while serving local areas.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years of experience, you’ll be part of a trusted brand offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish shifts from home while servicing local areas.
• Utilise provided tools and diagnostic kit to resolve faults quickly.
