Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom is hiring a Roadside Technician based in the Bournemouth area. You’ll start and end each day at home, with a RAC van and diagnostic kit provided, tackling fault diagnostics, flat batteries, tyre changes and emergency breakdowns across your local patch.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll join a team that values speed, reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with fault diagnostics.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the local patch.
• Ensure quick, confident solutions and strong member service.
