Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and help keep the UK moving. You’ll navigate road-side diagnoses, repair work and emergency breakdowns with a Level 2 qualification and 2+ years’ experience. Your day starts and ends at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided.

Exeter cluster covers Exmouth and nearby towns; you’ll work ~40 hours with potential overtime. Strong base pay (£36,400) and realistic OTE (~£60k) reward your expertise.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
