Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the Exeter cluster area, covering Exmouth and nearby towns. You’ll diagnose, repair, and support members on the roadside, starting and finishing at home, with a RAC van and full kit provided. The role combines technical skill with strong member service.

Candidates should have an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience and a valid UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points. OTE is around £60k for top performers.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
