Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit supplied.

Requires NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Perform expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish from home, providing fast, confident solutions and excellent member service at the roadside.
