RAC is seeking a roadside vehicle technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside across the UK. You will work from home base and respond to call-outs, delivering expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years as a technician, plus a full UK driving licence with under 6 points. Competitive base pay and strong benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage flat batteries, tyre changes, and complex fault‑finding tasks.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance at roadside incidents.
• Work independently from home base, responding to call‑outs across the local area.
