Job summary

Allianz Partners is looking for an experienced vehicle/roadside technician to diagnose faults at the roadside and repair where safe, or arrange recovery. You’ll start from home and run your day from a fully equipped van, covering the Daventry/Middlesbrough area with autonomy and direct customer contact.

Expect a £41,200 base salary, £8,000 bonus plus £3,000 guaranteed in year one, realistic OTE of £55,000, and strong benefits including private medical cover, pension contributions up to 6.5%, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a vehicle/roadside technician who can work independently on scene.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment.
• Confident, calm customer communication and ability to manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside calls, diagnose faults, and repair at scene where safe.
• Decide between repair vs recovery and arrange recovery when needed.
• Own each job end-to-end with clear customer communication and notes in systems.
• Operate and maintain a van and tools, follow safety procedures.
