Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking experienced vehicle technicians to be the roadside fixer, starting from home with a fully equipped van. You will diagnose faults on-site, decide between repair or recovery, and communicate clearly with customers to restore travel safely and promptly.

The role offers a base salary and generous bonuses, realistic OTE, and benefits including private medical cover and pension contributions, with ongoing training for EV and roadside diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician with independent decision-making at scene.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment.
• Confident, calm customer communication representing Allianz Partners at roadside.
• Proficient with IT, mobile apps and diagnostic software; accurate data capture.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside calls, assess and diagnose faults, and repair on-site when safe.
• Decide between repair and recovery; arrange recovery when needed.
• Own each job end-to-end with clear customer communication and reassurance.
• Operate and maintain the van, manage tools/parts, follow safety procedures.
• Meet service, safety and quality standards while aiming for targets with rewards.
• Work with AI/ML/data analytics tools and follow data governance standards.
