Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking an experienced vehicle technician to attend roadside calls from home, driving a fully equipped van to diagnose faults and decide between repair or recovery. You’ll work in a field-based role with clear outcomes and great autonomy across Aberdeen and surrounding areas.

The role offers a £41,200 base salary, £8,000 bonus plus £3,000 guaranteed first year, Realistic OTE of £55,000 and benefits including private medical cover, pension contributions up to 6.5% and a range

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician who can work independently at the scene.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with modern equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a van.
• EV credentials welcome; training available.
• IT literacy and accurate data capture.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside assistance calls, assess the situation, diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools, and repair at scene wherever safe and possible so customers can continue their journey.
• Make practical, safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery; arrange professional recovery if needed.
• Own each job end-to-end: communicate clearly with customers and provide reassurance.
• Operate and maintain your van, manage tools and parts, follow safety procedures, and keep accurate notes in our systems.
• Meet service, safety and quality standards while working efficiently toward targets with financial rewards.
• Work with AI, ML, data analytics and cloud-based tools in line with data governance and security standards.
