Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will perform expert roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, representing a trusted brand with 125 years of heritage.

You’ll start and end your day at home, with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit provided. Expect around 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day at home, delivering quick, confident solutions for members.
