Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Exeter cluster, covering local areas and starting/finishing at home. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members on the roadside with your Level 2 qualification and 2+ years’ experience.

Role includes a home-based start/end, a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, diagnostic kit, and local area coverage. OTE around £60k with a base of £36,400 and overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home with a mobile, flexible schedule.
