Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults, perform expert roadside repairs and provide emergency breakdown support to members across the local area, starting and finishing each day from home.

In addition to a strong base pay (£36,400) with a realistic OTE around £60,000, you’ll benefit from a van, fuel card, full uniform, diagnostic kit and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and deliver outstanding member service.
