Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repairs, diagnostics and breakdown support across the UK. You will start and end your day from home, visiting members in your local area and tackling diverse roadside challenges with confidence.

You will receive a base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE around £60,000, and a van, fuel card, full uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided from day one. Flexible shifts average 40 hours per week with overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members on the roadside.
• Start and end each day at home and manage calls across local area.
