Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and support members during breakdowns across the UK. The role combines hands-on mechanical work with excellent customer service, using advanced diagnostic tools to get customers back on the road swiftly.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults independently, solve problems and get members back on the road quickly
• Use the latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and provide confident solutions
