Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults, perform emergency roadside repairs and support members across the UK, using your vehicle maintenance expertise and calm customer focus.

Starting and ending your day at home, you’ll manage calls with confidence, operate with provided RAC tools and kit, and enjoy a competitive base salary with strong OTE and several company benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside
