Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostics and mechanical roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll be part of the Exeter cluster, working locally and starting/finishing at home with a RAC van, fuel card, and full uniform provided.

With 2+ years of experience or 5+ years in the field, you’ll hold a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent and a full UK driving licence with under 6 points. Competitive base pay and realistic OTE await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience, or
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and end your day at home and travel locally to calls
• Utilise tools, tech and support to resolve faults quickly
