Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician in the Exeter cluster (Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth and surrounding towns). You’ll work from home to start and finish each day, covering local areas to get members back on the road quickly.

A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification with 2+ years of experience is required. Expect a market-competitive base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of around £60,000, plus overtime and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Roadside Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Tackle faults fast and provide reassurance to RAC members on the roadside.
• Start and finish your day from home, operating a RAC van with tools and diagnostics.
