Job summary

RAC seeks a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll start and finish from home, backed by a RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit. Expect a 40‑hour week with demand led shifts and optional overtime.

The role requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2+ years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence. A rewarding, fast‑paced career with a long heritage awaits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members on scene.
