Job summary

RAC in the UK is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division and keep members moving. You’ll deliver roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the country, starting and finishing your day at home.

With a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, you’ll work ~40 hours per week on demand-led shifts, with overtime options, and a market-competitive base salary plus realistic OTE.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Customer-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish days at home while managing calls.
