Job summary

At RAC, we are looking for a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing your day at home.

You’ll be part of a team that values speed, safety and excellent member service as you help drivers get back on the road quickly. With a strong base pay of £42,921.87 and an achievable OTE of £60,000, RAC offers a supportive environment, a van and tools provided, and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges and making an impact on the roadside.
• Be equipped with tools and support to get the job done and provide confident solutions to members.
